FLORIDA ENLISTED NATIONAL GUARD AUXILIARY

PURPOSE: To support the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) and the Enlisted National Guard Association of Florida (ENGAF) in attaining goals and objectives, providing legislative support for the improvement and retention of benefits for Guard members and to provide fellowship among National Guard families.

What The Auxiliary Can Do For You?

Some previous EANGUS legislative accomplishments won in Congress on behalf of our Guardsmen:

- Permanent VA home loan program for Guard and Reserve.

- Early eligibility for TRICARE, 90 days before mobilization, made permanent.

- Unlimited commissary access for Guard and Reserve.

- Increased full-time manning for ARNG.

- Permanent reduction of minimum service required before qualifying for retirement from 8 to 6 years.

- Restoration of tax-deductibility of non-reimbursable expenses for travel to drill.

With your membership you receive quarterly newsletters to help you better understand the benefits and programs of the National Guard as well as up-to-date legislative issues affecting the National Guard, and be eligible for state and national scholarships. Your membership also entitles you to be a member in our national organization, the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States Auxiliary (EANGUS Auxiliary).
