The National Guard Association of Florida is proud to announce our 2008 fund raising event, “Golf with the Stars”- Support Your Guard, to be held at the World Golf Village.
The event begins with a pairings party and dinner at The World Golf Hall of Fame on Sunday nigh, August 10th followed by the tournament at The Slammer & Squire Golf Course Monday morning. The tournament is limited to 144 players, so don’t miss out on this opportunity.
The profits from this event will contribute to the following goals and objectives: Assist Guard members and their families in the pursuit of higher education. Advance initiatives that promote family and employer support of our Guard. Sponsor junior officer and junior enlisted families of the Florida National Guard to attend our annual State Conference. Support the Florida National Guard Youth Challenge.
Among those attending this year’s event will be our Florida National Guard senior leaders, celebrities, and sports stars. The pairings party will feature Silent Auction items, live auction items, and dinner catered by the Renaissance Resort. The tournament will be a four person “Captain's Choice” shot gun format with a field of 36 teams @ $85.00 per person. The awards ceremony and luncheon will be held at the Slammer & Squire Clubhouse following the golf tournament.
We are soliciting donations for the golf tournament in the form of financial contributions, company promotional items to be placed in individual golf packets, or any item which can be utilized as an award or prize during the tournament. The cost to sponsor a hole is $200.00. This will include a sign designating your company’s name.
Any support that you can provide in the form of a donation will be greatly appreciated. You will receive recognition for your contribution in our promotional material, patronage from our participants and their families, a letter of thanks and a certificate of appreciation from the National Guard Association of Florida. We must confirm your sponsorship or donations no later than July 1st, 2008 in order to meet printing deadlines.
